I would like to congratulate all students across Aberavon who are collecting their A-Level and A/S level results today. You can all be really proud of yourselves today.
These results are the culmination of their hard work and they deserve this success. It goes to show the talent, enthusiasm and dedication of the young people in our community and I wish them every success in the future, whether it be into university or work.
I’d also like to pay tribute to all the teachers, parents and guardians for their hard work and the support they have given to ensure these young people have been able to complete their studies and can now look forward to the next stage of their lives.
If you didn’t get the results you were hoping for today, don’t panic, there are lots of options available to you. Speak to your teachers and career advisors, but there are also dedicated services you can contact who will offer you support and guidance during this time.
